Prestige reveals the new M8 flagship catamaran
Prestige Yachts continued to march into the luxury catamaran power boat and launched the new flagship 26-meter M8 of the M series.
The luxury motor yacht brand of Bonado Group, Peihaichi Yacht, released the new M8 at the Duesseldorf Yacht Exhibition, which will be the 85-foot flagship of the brand's new M-series luxury multi-hull ship. Prior to that, Peihaichi launched the first model M48 of its catamaran series at the Cannes Yacht Festival in 2022.
The new M8 will be built at Bonado Group's shipyard in Montfalcone, Italy, which specializes in building large yachts. The boat will make its debut at the Cannes Yacht Festival in 2023.
Garroni Design, which has been engaged in the design of Peihaichi yacht for the past 30 years, is responsible for the design of M8 to ensure the consistency with other yacht styles of Peihaichi series.
Peihaichi said that its catamaran was designed as a motor yacht from the beginning. They have developed catamarans that are narrower and taller than catamarans.

Pei Haichi estimated that the fuel consumption of their new M8 is about half of that of the single luxury yacht in the same living space. At the speed of 8 knots, the fuel consumption is estimated to be 20 liters per hour, and the speed range is from 8 to 18 knots, which is determined by the captain. The M8 can work for several hours at night and during the day only by battery. An optional silent ship configuration includes the installation of solar panels and a largelithium battery pack.
A key element in the design is the beach club. A 4.2 m wide platform can be lowered from the aft cabin to the water. It can be used to place an auxiliary boat or create a beach club area. There is also a large locker for storing aquatic toys and equipment.
